We are open:
We are pleased to announce that we are open for the second lockdown during November /December 2020. We are practicing under the British Acupuncture Council’s strict guidelines.
Things will be slightly different as there are safety measures in place and a bit more paperwork to fill in. Our PPE is here and necessary protocols are in place.
Whilst in lockdown we have been recommending meditation, yoga and qi gong to all our patients, which are all good ways to take care of yourself in theses restricted times. Here is a Youtube link to Shibashi by Master Wing Cheung. Practice safely.
Wishing you good health and a peaceful heart. Deb and Al
We have helped many people realise their dream of having a family.

Acupuncture treatment may be beneficial for:
• unexplained infertility
• IVF, ICSI, IUI, GIFT
• Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
• ovulation issues
• menstrual cycle irregularities
• lack of periods
• miscarriage prevention
• we can also support you through your pregnancy
• improves the quality of sperm. Improves sperm count, motility and morphology
• Most people people find that acupuncture is relaxing and helps you deal with stress, which in turn helps with your fertility. We have a special interest in treating stress.
Acupuncture is central to our treatment. We combine this with lifestyle and dietary advice. For many people, looking at their lifestyle and diet can make a big difference to their fertility. Moxibustion and cupping may also be used alongside acupuncture treatment.
Plan ahead. The ideal time to begin acupuncture is three months before conception or an IVF cycle. This will ensure that your eggs and sperm are at the best quality they can be, as both egg and sperm take around 90 days to mature. Do not worry though if you have missed the 90 day mark. There is good evidence to show that acupuncture later in the process will still improve your chances.
Support through pregnancy
We can offer support through your pregnancy. Treatment in pregnancy may be especially helpful if you have concerns about miscarriage, have morning sickness, or other problems during pregnancy. Some women also have treatment so as to stay in their best state of health during pregnancy.
We practice at 3 clinics in Bristol:
The Centre for Whole Health, Victoria Place, Bedminster, South Bristol.
The Parker Clinic, Gloucester Rd, North Bristol
